( Am Ch. Tartanside Allegiance ROM HT X Am Ch. Rosewood Memphis Pattycake )

Abbey is a multi-champion producing bitch, and is a key part of Davenloch's success and future. We acquired Abbey while attending the Collie Club of America National Specialty in Springfield Massatuchetts in 2004.   Many thanks to Pat and Karl Rosenbaum of Rosewood Collies Basse, Virginia for parting with this stunning girl. Abbey whelped her second litter in August of 2007 out of our Logan - BPISS Can Ch. Sylvan Argent Foreign Affair, from which we have kept two gorgeous daughters Multi BPIG, Multi Group Placing Ch. Davenloch Color Me Happy & Ch. Davenloch's Pillow Talk.   Her first litter in July of 2005, by BISS Am/Can Ch. Camloch Reflection, gave us Multi BPIG, Multi Group Placing, BPIS, BPISS Can Ch. Davenloch Prometheus Unbound - Blaze as well as BISS, BPISS Can Ch. Davenloch Prairiemist In Style. Abbey is currently the dam of 6 champions with more expected in the near future!   We now have Abbey granddaughters to introduce into our breeding program, and we look forward to our continued success as we work with these amazing dogs in our pedigrees.
                          Ch. Vally Park Davenloch's Dominion
(Am Ch. Tartanside Allegiance ROM HT X Jjaed's VP Bare Necessities)

Parker finished his Canadian Championship in very short order and we are happy to have him as part of our present & future.   We have great hopes for this very promising boy, as he is a 1/2 brother to our Abbey above, and brings with him a pedigree loaded with some of the breed's greatest producing ROM (Register of Merit) titled sires and dams.   Parker comes to us courtesy of Michelle Struble of Valley Park Collies in Bondurant Iowa, home of the gorgeous Am Ch. Tartanside Allegiance ROM HT - Lee.   Thank you Michelle for entrusting us with such a quality boy!   Parker will be staying home and entertaining the ladies for a while yet, but we definitely plan to bring him back out to the shows in the future once his coat comes back in!   Parker is proven and available at public stud to approved bitches. Usual tests required. Stud fee - $500.00 - Eye check - Mild CRC.

Best Puppy In Group Can Ch. Davenloch's Pillow Talk - AKA Serena
( BPISS CH. Sylvan Argent Foreign Affair X Ch. Lachki Rosewood By Request )

We are so pleased with Serena's outline, head detail, gorgeous expression and outgoing personality!   Serena picked up a Group 3 and Best Puppy In Group along with numerous Best of Breeds on the way to her title that she finished at the Edmonton Kennel Club shows on April 19, 2008. Serena made the cut in the large and very competitive Open Sable & White bitch class at the 2009 Collie Club of America National Specialty. Serena is now the proud new mother of 9 beautiful babies, sired by Southland's Lexington.   We hope to again have her with us at the 2010 CCA National once she completes her motherly duties and coats up this winter!
Multi Best Puppy In Group/Multi Group Placing Can Ch. Davenloch Color Me Happy (Paisley)
(BPISS Ch. Sylvan Argent Foreign Affair X Ch. Lachki Rosewood By Request)

This is Paisley, littermate to Serena just above her.   She also makes her home with us here at Davenloch. These two girls are great examples of the quality from this litter, and we are honoured to have these sisters as part of our kennel! Paisley finished her Canadian title in very short order with some prestigious wins under both all breed and collie breeder specialist judges! (Above right Paisley is pictured taking a Group 2 & Best Puppy In Group under Judge James Frederickson of Two Jays Collies Fame to finish her Canadian Championship) We are planning an exciting breeding for Paisley early in 2010.   Check back soon for more details!
                    Davenloch's Luminata - AKA Leah
(Wyndlair Avalanche X Can CH. Davenloch No Need to Whisper)

Both Leah and Bear below as well as their brother Davenloch Blue By You - Cajun who appears on Our Smooths Page as a young hopeful, are the wonderful results of three consecutive generations of Davenloch breeding through either the Sire or Dam. We chose to utilize dogs, that in some cases were located elsewhere, in order to take advantage of the larger gene pool and to obtain what we believed to be the best possible pedigrees available. We can't be more happy with the results of what judicious selection in choosing to utilize Wyndlair Avalanche has produced for us. To have produced what we believe to be such outstanding promise for our future generations helps reaffirm in our minds that we are truly moving in the right direction in our pursuit of the ultimate perfect Collie!   Please forgive the chain link but when you set about taking pictures of these energetic babies, just try to see how far you would get without having them behind something like that in hopes of getting some decent pictures!!!
